I can’t tell you how often I need to resize several images and don’t want to wait for Photoshop your favorite image editing program to start. Microsoft has a tool that will do this from the right-click menu.
You can select multiple images, right click, and choose from several preset sizes, or set your own. You can also choose to make copies of the images and keep the originals the same, or edit the originals directly.

The Microsoft Image Resizer Powertoy is available here

That’s pretty cool, Dan. I will check it out since I am constantly doing this for the site.
I also like Irfanview, which I am going to post a few tutorials about ASAP. You can do batch re-sizing with it as well and it is free.
This looks like about as easy a way to do it as possible.
Do you know, does it keep the quality level of the image high?

It seems to. I haven’t done a lot of testing, but I’ve never noticed a decrease in quality.
