A Photoshop action is simply a pre-configured step or series of steps that can be applied to a photograph. In other words, if you normally have to do 15 things to change a photo the way you would like to change it you could write or find an action that does the same thing and have Photoshop execute all of the steps inside the action automatically. Kirupa.com Look through the forums on Kirupa.com for all sorts of good Photoshop stuff. If you are interested in Flash or other design tools Kirupa is an awesome resource for things outside of Photoshop also.
Emanuele Feronato’s blog This guy created a great lomographic photoshop action. Not sure if it is true Lomography but it adds some great looking contrast and tinting to photos.
